We have a user in Teyu who used a single-pump, single-temperature chiller CW-6100AN to cool a 500W fiber laser. At first, I felt that there was no problem, so I ordered more than a dozen CW-6100ANs in a row. But in July and August, In the hot summer, the ambient temperature rises, the cooling water temperature is quite different from the ambient temperature, and condensation water appears in the cutting head-QBH joint. Now our Teyu recommends a small chiller to cool the cutting head. I recommend the CW-5000AI chiller.
Generally speaking, the 500W fiber laser has two parts, the fiber body and the cutting head-QBH joint, which need to be cooled. The user used a single-pump, single-temperature machine CW-6100AN to connect a tee at the water inlet and outlet, and divide the two water paths to cool the main body and the joint at the same time, but the QBH joint is generally cooled at room temperature, so the problem of condensed water is prone to occur.
Usually, to cool 500W optical fiber, Teyu will recommend the dual-pump, dual-temperature, and dual-control chiller CW-6100AT to users, so there is no need to worry about the condensate problem.
