There are two types of system solutions for a water-source air handling unit for high-voltage inverters
System solution (I): duct system
1. The unit will be directly connected by ducts to the exhaust port of the top of the cabinet of the inverter, which improves the heat exchange efficiency and can directly cool down the heat discharged from the inverter.
System solution (II): hot air area system
1. A compartment above the entire electrical cabinet, directly connected to the exhaust port on the top of the cabinet, and the unit cools the hot air inside the compartment.
Both solutions will be set:
2. The cooling water pipeline is outside the high-voltage inverter distribution room to avoid threats to high-voltage equipment when the cooling water pipeline leaks or breaks to ensure safety and avoid accidents.
3. Indicators like air outlet, wind speed, wind pressure, etc should be calculated, in order to prevent water condensation from entering the room by air outlets during the cooling process; under the condition of ensuring good discharge pressure, it makes the equipment run safely and stably.
4. when the unit shutdown due to failure, it can automatically open the emergency vent even unattended, discharging hot air to ensure the safe and normal operation of the inverter.
