HISURP top-mounted electrical cabinet cooling units are designed for industrial control cabinets where side space is limited, cabinet rows are densely arranged, or equipment layout requires a compact cooling structure. A top installation design allows the cooling unit to be placed above the electrical enclosure, reducing side protrusion and helping machine builders maintain a cleaner equipment footprint.
In many factories, electrical cabinets are installed beside CNC machines, production lines, robot cells, telecom equipment, conveyor systems or compact machinery. The side panels may be blocked by adjacent cabinets, safety fences, cable trays, machine doors or workshop walkways. In these cases, a Top Mounted Cabinet Air Conditioner offers a practical way to cool the cabinet without occupying valuable lateral space.
HISURP top-mounted units use a separated internal and external circulation structure. The cabinet-side airflow is used for internal cooling, while the ambient-side airflow is used for heat rejection. The two air circuits do not mix. This closed-loop design helps prevent dust, oil mist, humid air and corrosive particles from entering the cabinet. For factories using traditional fans or natural ventilation, this is a major upgrade because fans may bring outside contamination directly into the control box.

The top-mounted structure keeps the side panels free. This is especially useful for cabinet rows, narrow production aisles and machine-integrated control panels.
The internal air cycle cools cabinet air repeatedly without exchanging air with the outside environment. This helps protect PLCs, frequency converters, servo systems, relay modules and precision instruments from dust and oil contamination.
The unit supports cabinet temperature management, with a typical adjustable range of +20°C to +38°C depending on model configuration. Cooling and dehumidification work together to reduce condensation, corrosion and electrical insulation problems.
The refrigeration system includes a hermetic rotary compressor, efficient condenser and evaporator, throttling device and optimized airflow design. The compressor provides efficient cooling performance with reduced vibration and low operating noise.
The condenser side is equipped with a primary filter to reduce dust, oil and debris entering the heat exchanger. Regular filter cleaning helps maintain heat exchange efficiency and extends service life.
