Hisurp's Grain Dryers Units are designed for modern grain depots that need effective cooling, wide-area air distribution, and better grain moisture protection during storage. It is suitable for grain warehouses, reserve depots, cereal storage buildings, and agricultural storage projects where preserving both grain quality and storage efficiency is important.
Compared with ordinary HVAC equipment, this system is specially designed around the operating realities of grain storage. It addresses the major issues that standard air conditioners often fail to solve, including fumigation gas corrosion, dust accumulation, excessive dehumidification, and poor airflow coverage in large storage rooms.
Developed to Solve the Three Main Problems in Grain Storage Cooling
Hisurp developed the Grain Dryers Units to solve three major challenges commonly faced in temperature-controlled grain
storage:
Corrosion During Fumigation
When grain warehouses undergo fumigation, corrosive gases can damage conventional copper components, motors, sensors,
and control systems. Hisurp addresses this with specialized corrosion-resistant design and patented evaporator
technology.
Dust During Grain Handling
Large amounts of dust are generated during grain loading and unloading. This can clog heat exchangers and reduce HVAC
performance. Hisurp uses design measures such as wider fin spacing and application-specific structure to reduce
dust-related performance problems.
Moisture Loss During Cooling
Traditional air conditioners often remove too much moisture while lowering air temperature. In grain storage, this can
result in unnecessary grain drying and weight loss. Hisurp’s high sensible cooling design helps cool the warehouse while
better preserving grain moisture.

Powerful Airflow for Large Warehouses
The system can provide approximately 3200 m³/h air volume and a 25–30 m air supply distance, helping create a more
uniform temperature field inside large warehouse spaces. Uniform cooling improves the overall effect of grain
preservation.
Patented Anti-Corrosion Technology
Hisurp’s patented magnesium-aluminum alloy evaporator helps solve the corrosion problems that phosphine can cause to
traditional copper parts. The unit also uses a fully sealed supply fan design to help prevent motor corrosion.
Wide Fin Spacing Design
The heat exchanger uses a wide fin spacing design to reduce the risk of blockage caused by dust and debris, improving suitability for grain handling environments.
Intelligent Operation Control
Recommended Installation Approach
For easier dust cleaning and routine maintenance, floor installation is generally recommended. To improve energy
efficiency, the outdoor unit is preferably installed on the shaded side of the warehouse. Outdoor units can be placed on
the ground or on a canopy structure depending on the project layout.
Indoor air outlets may be designed with adjustable double-layer louvers or with ducted top supply according to required
air throw distance and warehouse size. Through proper duct arrangement, the system can achieve more even air
distribution across large grain storage areas.
