Unlike ordinary air conditioners installed inside cabins, the Deck Unit Air Conditioner features a high-strength, waterproof, and corrosion-resistant structure, capable of directly withstanding wave impacts, rain immersion, salt spray corrosion, and deck vibrations, ensuring stable operation even under extreme marine climate conditions. It is a core component of the ventilation and air conditioning systems for deck areas on various types of vessels, including ocean-going ships, offshore platforms, and engineering vessels.
The entire unit boasts an IP56 or higher protection rating, withstanding powerful water jets and wave impacts. Internal electrical components are completely sealed, impervious to weathering.
The outer shell is constructed from 316L stainless steel or high-strength marine-grade aluminum alloy, with a special coating that provides long-term resistance to marine salt spray corrosion, resulting in a service life far exceeding that of ordinary equipment.
