What is?

The LNG Air Conditioner is a high-safety air conditioning system designed by Hisurp specifically for LNG carriers, LNG bunkering vessels, and LNG-powered ships. LNG ships transport liquefied natural gas at -162°C, and their deck areas and some compartments are considered hazardous areas with a risk of gas leakage. Therefore, the LNG Air Conditioner must possess explosion-proof, anti-static, cryogenic resistance, and highly reliable operating characteristics to provide a safe and stable temperature and humidity environment for crew living areas, control rooms, and equipment rooms.

Unlike ordinary marine air conditioners, the LNG Air Conditioner is designed according to ATEX or IECEx standards in terms of electrical explosion protection, enclosure protection, and refrigeration system isolation, ensuring safe operation in potentially hazardous environments.
